An integrated approach for spatial distribution of potentially toxic elements (Cu, Pb and Zn) in topsoil

Abstract In this study, statistical analysis and spatial distribution were performed to compare raw data centred log-ratio ( clr ) transformed of three copper (Cu), lead (Pb), zinc (Zn) potentially toxic elements (PTEs) concentration for 550 surface soil samples in Khuzestan plain. The results both approaches showed that classical univariate compositional are essential find the real structure clarify its different aspects. Results also indicated distributions -transformed completely studied metals. Raw necessarily shows effects anthropogenic activities needs an additional evaluation human health risk assessment these elements. Data obtained from -coefficient maps demonstrated role geological processes pattern (PTEs). To improve understanding implications PTE pollution consequences health, a RGB colour composite map was produce identify potential origin PTEs areas with higher than typical baseline concentrations.
